Ramble!

I remember when I about 15 or 16 a friend of mine invited me over to his place to listen to a record called by someone called Sun-Ra, the album I can recall... I believe is.... called when sun comes out. it was the first thing that showed me where music could be taken and the experiments one could do with sound in the most extreme sense. Directly after a few plays of that album, he put on the Radiohead song  Airbag and it made me want to vomit, that is how much emotionally and mentally the sound vibrated all over my body. That day I went home and looked up everything about the band and all of their influences...then tried to listen to all of it. That week onto the following years, hip-hop got a backseat to anything experimental in terms of jazz, rock, classical and whatever.  So for that I thank Radiohead and Sun-Ra. Thus the reason I feel in my soul that experimenting with music is highly important, pushing the limits is important, trying something different is important because it gives you new insight into your life. If I chose that day to not listen to anything that day because I loved hip-hop so much then I may have missed a world of music. I'm ranting but my point is never to get comfortable with one way of listening, playing, or experience sound. I think that is what Radiohead as done to a certain extent and for that I thank them. so thats what i will try to do....Wether people are hearing it or not, it does not matter as long as I am contributing to the ongoing progression of music in some way.

my grammar is horrible.
